What do Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3 cover?

Paper 1 is Inorganic and Physical Chemistry and Paper 2 is Organic and Physical Chemistry, as printed on the papers themselves. Paper 3 is the third written paper in the series; check the front of each paper for exactly what it assesses.

What is the data booklet?

The data booklet is the insert AQA provides with A Level Chemistry question papers, holding the data students are allowed to use in the exam. It is listed with each paper and as a specimen copy below.

What is a report on the exam?

AQA publishes a report on the examination for each paper after each series. It explains how students answered, which questions were done well, and where marks were commonly lost — useful for finding what to practise.

Why are the 2020 and 2021 papers listed under June?

The papers themselves carry the references Jun20 and Jun21 on every page, so they are listed under the June 2020 and June 2021 series, exactly as AQA printed them.

Why is there a short wait before a paper opens?

Papers are free to use. The short countdown before each file opens helps keep the site running while the files load.
