A Structured Path to Exam Readiness
Exam preparation is treated as a process, not a single revision push in the final weeks - starting with an honest assessment of where the student actually stands against the syllabus.
A structured path from where a student is, to exam-ready
Each phase builds on the one before it - the same underlying process, adapted to how much time is available before the exam.
- 01
Assess
Establish exactly where the student stands against the syllabus before planning anything.
- Syllabus assessment
- Identifying strong and weak topics
- 02
Plan
Turn that assessment into a realistic, prioritised plan for the time available.
- Revision planning
- Topic prioritisation
- 03
Rebuild Understanding
Revisit weaker concepts properly, then apply them - not just re-read notes.
- Concept revision
- Topical questions
- 04
Practise Under Exam Conditions
Move from understanding a concept to reproducing it accurately, at speed, in exam format.
- Past papers
- Mark schemes
- Exam technique
- Time management
- 05
Confirm Readiness
Simulate the real exam and close any remaining gaps before it counts.
- Mock exams
- Error analysis
Where this fits with past-paper practice
Past papers are one part of the exam-preparation journey above - the practice phase, once concepts are solid enough to apply under timed conditions. For more detail on exactly how past-paper sessions are structured, mark-scheme review and error analysis are covered on the dedicated past papers page.

What happens in the free demo?
The free demo is a short introductory session to understand the student's current level, target grade and any specific topics they're struggling with, so we can recommend the right tutor and programme before anything is booked.
How do I know which programme is right?
As a rough guide: choose Full Course if the exam is more than a few months away, Crash Course if it's close, Past Papers & Exam Preparation if the theory is solid but exam technique isn't, and Weak Area Improvement if only specific topics are an issue. We'll confirm the right fit during the free demo.
How long and how frequent are sessions?
This is agreed with the tutor based on the student's programme and availability - most students have one to two sessions a week, each lasting 60-90 minutes, though this can flex around exams or school workload.
Can you guarantee a grade improvement?
No tutor can honestly guarantee a specific grade, since outcomes depend on the student's starting point, consistency and school context too. What we can commit to is a tutor who specialises only in chemistry, a clear plan, and regular past-paper practice aligned to your board.
